President’s Message

CLCG,

The events of the past several months have been very exciting as we round out the second quarter of 2010. The Activities Committee (which you all belong to) planned many events that have sparked the interest for a large number of members. Places of interest have been visited, car shows have come and gone, friendships have grown and of course, the foods of choice have been many.

I know each of your calendars are being filled with summer events, and as we all come and go it can get hectic. CLCG has many summer events on the calendar as your Activity Director/Committee have done an outstanding job of offering you opportunities with various types of events. If you have a desire for an event I again solicit your participation on the first Thursday of each month at Sonny's on Russell Parkway beginning at 6:30. We order dinner as early as 6:00 and continue to eat during the meeting if necessary.  Come when you can, have dinner, fellowship and plan the next round of events for CLCG. Thanks to each of you that have helped plan, organize and facilitate many of our events this year, it takes all of your talents and experiences to make it happen.

My desire is for each you, is to be excited about the next event that you will have the opportunity to attend. I want you to have fun, experience new things and of course visit the popular events of old. But it's your voice within your club that makes it all come together.

Let me encourage each of you to continue to support CLCG efforts, get involved where you can and use your talents for the good of this outstanding organization.  Check the CLCG calendar and watch for notices of new events.  I am encouraged and excited about the number of new members and look forward to getting to know you, so come on out and enjoy all the good times this club has to offer.  Thank you for your support and the opportunity to be a part of such a great group.
